Being a dog lover I thoroughly enjoyed this devotional book. Each story touches the heart with smiles, laughter, or joy. Each story made me realize how the owner’s experience often paralleled with mine and helped me better understand my connection with my favorite pet.
As well, each story had a lesson for us to learn, not only from the dog but from the experience. Knowing that each animal was created through the love of God we can go within and contemplate on our own lives and the lesson we can learn from our canine pets.
“Heavenly Humor for the Dog Lover’s Soul” is a wonderful little book to give to a canine lover friend or have by your favorite chair. A few minutes a day reading a story and contemplating our own lives will give us the spark we need for that moment.
