Alternative and complementary healing is coming to the forefront with leaps and bounds, and rightly so. People no longer want to rely on synthetic drugs or medications that only mask the symptom rather than address the underlying issue or cause. “The Complete Handbook of Quantum Healing” is not only appropriately named but the timing couldn’t be any better. Deanna M. Minich, Ph.D., C.N., states “The approach to healing cultivated in the twentieth century has become outdated. …This book provides a menu of options so you can experience quantum healing on all levels for something as small as a symptom or as chronically manifest as disease.”
Using the power of nourishment, emotional identification and release, visualization and meditation, power animals and flower essences Deanna M. Minich gives us an array of alternatives for any common ailment we may have. For example, one common ailment is headaches. Minich suggests working with a qualified healthcare practitioner to identify any allergies that you may have. As well, she suggests supplements such as magnesium, B-complex vitamin, Coenzyme Q10, Botanicals (ginger, feverfew) and 5-hydroxytryptophan and flower essences such as lavender, nasturtium, peppermint, and Star of Bethlehem. Minich claims the emotions connected to headaches are anger, fear, and worry and are connected to the third eye chakra. She also provides an affirmation, as well as a visualization and meditation exercise.
“The Complete Handbooks of Quantum Healing” is one of the better books I’ve seen. It is concise, yet covers all the necessary information needed to self-heal. Once we are aware of an ailment and accept that it may be caused by an emotional issue or a body imbalance we can easily address the problem with any combination of modalities that Minich gives us. This is a perfect book for beginners or as a resource for healers.
