Dr. Cheryl Williams is a registered nurse with a doctor of health education degree. Her doctoral dissertation is published in ProQuest. Dr. Williams is blessed with two daughters and three granddaughters. She was baptized at the tender age of 11, and through the years has developed a trusting relationship with God. She believes God has entrusted her with spreading the word about his Son’s return in 2017, which birthed the book, God’s Indemnity: Would 2017 find you SCALPED or fully Covered?
Sheri: Welcome, Dr. Williams, and thank you for being with us today. Why don’t you start by telling readers a little bit about yourself?
Dr. Williams: Hi Sheri, thank you for interviewing me. I am excited to be here. I am first and foremost a mother of two daughters and grandmother to three granddaughters. I am also nurse who holds a doctoral degree. Last, but not least, I am a woman who has chosen to return to a loving, trustworthy creator.
Sheri: What is God’s Indemnity about?
Dr. Williams: God’s Indemnity is all about God’s insurance coverage through his Holy Spirit. God has guaranteed eternal life for his children. God’s Holy Spirit/Indemnity will give us the assurance that we can hold on to God’s hand during times of personal and worldwide crisis.
Sheri: Where did you get the inspiration to write God’s Indemnity?
Dr. Williams: The title for the book was given to me through a dream, which I shared in the book. The inspiration was given to me through the various life experiences God allowed me to endure.
Sheri: You use a rather intimidating acronym in your sub-title – what does SCALPED stand for and what is the importance of it in your message?
Dr. Williams: The acronym SCALPED stands for Sloth, Covetousness, Anger, Lust, Pride, Envy, and Drunkenness of Spirit. This acronym informs each of us of the need for self-assessment and the need to return to God.
Sheri: What was your biggest challenge in writing God’s Indemnity?
Dr. Williams: Believe or not, the biggest challenge was actually how to begin writing the book. I vividly remember telling the Lord that I was not equipped to write a book about his Indemnity. God certainly presented the many scenarios to teach me about his Indemnity.
Sheri: What is the significance of the year 2017?
Dr. Williams: The year 2017 represents the season we should expect the Lord’s coming. The word of God reads, “Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?” The Lord has given me the understanding to interpret this present time through dreams as shared in the book.
Sheri: There have been many claims about the date of the Lord’s second coming. How does Scripture support your claim that it will happen in 2017?
Dr. Williams: I believe there are several bible texts to support the claim; some of the texts are included in the book. There are many more in the bible. Again, the year 2017 is time/season. It should be noted that the book does not include a specific date in 2017, as this would be going against God’s word.
Sheri: What is it that you hope readers take away most from God’s Indemnity?
Dr. Williams: To return to God now, and to put complete trust in God. Prepare and look for his soon coming.
Sheri: What’s next? Do you have plans to write another book?
Dr. Williams: I will write once the Holy Spirit gives me utterance.
Sheri: Is there anything else you would like to share with readers today?
Dr. Williams: Yes, my prayer and hope is to see many souls in heaven, who made it in as a direct result of this book.
Sheri: Do you have a website or a blog where our readers can learn more about God’s Indemnity and other works?
Dr. Williams:Yes, I do have a website: www.Godsindemnity.webs.com. I also have a Facebook page.
Sheri: Dr. Williams, thank you so much for being here today. It was a pleasure getting to know more about you and your work.
Dr. Williams: Thank you Sheri so very much, for the opportunity to share about this inspirational book. Blessings.
