Do you have dreams of going viral on TikTok? In her new book, “How I Went Viral on TikTok,” author and marketing expert Ashley Kline can help you do just that!
“How I Went Viral on TikTok” is a concise, easy to read book full of helpful information, insight and tips about going viral on the most popular social media platform in the world, with over a hundred million live users daily. TikTok’s reach is unsurpassed and one viral video could very well make you famous! From everyday folks like you and me, to bloggers, influencers and celebrities, everyone is getting a piece of the TikTok action today.
In order to go viral, the first step is to have a plan – as the author states, “You don’t go viral by accident, you go viral by design.” To that end, Kline has outlined a simple step-by-step process to develop and execute your TikTok marketing plan. Note, I said “simple,” but that in no way implies that it is easy. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. It will take a lot of work and commitment on your end to ensure your success on the TikTok platform. It is with this in mind that Kline provides precise action items to achieve your goals, including planning, research, development, content creation and more. In one of the chapters, she also shares specific “viral tips” based on her marketing expertise.
The platform is geared toward the younger generation so it’s important to craft your TikTok’s to appeal to that demographic but the reach goes well beyond that specific population. While most of the TikTok creators seem to be of the young crowd, the viewers span all generations. After reading Kline’s book I had to check it out for myself and have to say, TikTok engages like no other platform out there. I’m a fan, but I’ll stick to viewing and liking and sharing and leave the content creation to the professionals!
Speaking of professional, I urge you to take all of Kline’s suggestions into consideration when planning your TikTok’s. After my review of the platform, it’s obvious that some people spend a lot of time planning and creating high-quality content and others just turn on the camera and shoot from the hip, so to speak. Kline devotes a chapter to content related matters regarding keywords, hashtags, video length and posting your content on other platforms.
Overall, “How I Went Viral on TikTok” by Ashley Kline is a must-read book for anyone serious about creating a viral presence on the platform.
