Just as she emerges from the forest, she is met by the striking view of burning houses, with multitudes sprinting haphazardly in all directions. Her grandmother’s life is at risk and Duna can’t visualize losing her to the fire, being the only one left of her family.

Years later after fleeing home, Duna joins the army where she impressively and skillfully combats diverse male warriors, an achievement that brings her into the presence of the most handsome man she has ever set her eyes on, General Cathal. She becomes intensely attracted to him, owing to his firm physique, agility, and grit, in addition to an occasional fondness for her magnificence, skill, and persona. Cathal is equally experiencing a tornado of emotions for the warrior queen, Duna. He knows very well that if not controlled fast, these feelings will overtake his loyalty to Princess Leila, whom he has known for a longer time and is planning to marry.
